Our mission at KUYAY goes beyond offering unique products. We are a voice for Andean communities of women weavers who face economic and social challenges. The name “KUYAY” encapsulates our respect and admiration for these women. In Quechua, the native language of the Peruvian Andes, “KUYAY” means “love”. We chose this name because it represents the affection and dedication with which our weavers perform their work, and also as a tribute to the love we feel for them and their creations.
